HoM Account Wide Clarification?
Just returned after a long hiatus, with the desire to max out my HoM!
But I want to save myself time by clarifying everything now. I HAVE done searches & checked out the HoM guide, neither found my answers. This is just a few quick, hopefully easily answerable questions. First & for most. On the HoM calculator. It lists the achievements that grant points, yes? Well a lot of them are like say "20 minipets" etc. My question is. Do I need those 20 pets from one character, or can it be from several? (ie, one character dedicates say 10, another say 5, and another does 5)? Does this apply to everything? For instance I am thinking of making a pre-searing character to harass the Traveler guy from his goods, so I can max out the drunkard, sweet tooth & the festive item titles on him, then post-sear him & get his tapestry up & dedicate them. Same applies to the campaigns (several characters are furthest in several different campaigns; want to use each for each campaign). When I do this dedicating. Do I need to do it on the account HoM or the character HoM? Does it make a difference? |

#1 - it can be from multiple characters, however each minipet has to be "unique".
So if you have a Mini Koss dedicated on one character and dedicate another Mini Koss on another character, it will only count as 1 dedicated mini. If however you dedicate a Mini Gwen on another character it will count as another dedicated mini, leaving your account credited with 2 dedicated mini's. #2. HoM calculator is account based, not character based. So if you have 1 character with titles like drunken, sweet tooth, etc but all your other characters don't have it... as long as the character which has them.. has marked them in the HoM.. they will count towards your accounts HoM reward points. #3. You can't dedicate anything or put up titles if the HoM is in account mode. You will have to talk to the npc there in the HoM to switch to character mode to dedicate mini's, put up titles, hero armor's, elite armor's, etc. But since HoM is counted account wide, once put up on a characters HoM, it will count towards your accounts HoM reward points. The HoM reward points count everything done on all your characters HoM's, not just individual characters HoM. Hope this helps

I'm pretty sure you can still dedicate items and probably heroes/pets in account-mode, as long as the character you're on has actually used a taspestry on it.

Yeah you can still dedicate stuff in account mode, as long as you have a tapestry there on that character that is dedicating the item.

Not necessarily true. I added a FoW statue in account wide view with no problems. Maybe it's just for certain monuments or people in certain circumstances. Switching to personal view is recommended to make sure it all works though.

Whoops, my bad about #3 LOL, guess you learn something new every day
I'd still recommend switching to personal view just to make sure no problems happen

Huh, didn't know of that title... But how many titles out fo the 53 do I need to get to reach 50/50?
Cus before learning of this 'Legendary Vanquisher'. I was planning to have my 3 chars (each much further in a campaign than any other of my characters) get the titles linked to the Master/bonuses of all missions. As well as then have them vanquish their respective areas... But if I get another for vanquishing all campaigns with 1 character... That's kinda forcing my hand to use a character I don't particularly enjoy too much anymore XD (It's a Dervish; using an axe & no enchantments... lol. ... Got sick of casting like 3-5 enchantments each time before I wanted to swing my scythe! :O) |
